Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect your email address and survey answers when you join the waitlist. We use this information to build Questly and to notify you when early access opens. We never sell your data, never share it with third parties, and you can email us any time to have it deleted.

What we collect

• Email address — used to notify you about early access and product updates.
• Survey answers — your grade, biggest homework challenge, interest in features, and whether you want to beta test. Used to prioritize what we build.
• Referral data — if you joined via a referral link, we store the referral code to credit your referrer. No personal data about the referrer is shared with you.

What we do NOT collect

• No passwords
• No payment information
• No location data
• No browsing history or tracking pixels
• No data from third-party social platforms

How we use your data

• To notify you when early access opens
• To prioritize which features to build first (aggregated, anonymous analysis)
• To send the one welcome email confirming your spot
• To manage referral tracking and queue positions

Who we share data with

We use Supabase (database) and Resend (email delivery) to operate the waitlist. These are infrastructure services that process your data only as needed to provide their services. We do not sell data to anyone, ever.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

Questly is designed for students 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted their information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can request to view, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing privacy@questly.app. We'll respond within 7 days.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we'll email everyone on the waitlist before those changes take effect.
